"Tried to die?" Dean asked furrowing his brow. How did someone try to die short of slitting their wrists?
A soft huff escaped Sam and he swallowed back the lump that had been there all too often recently. "The police made you give them a statement. You did. Then you just-just-just…" Sam had to stop, trying to gather himself. His voice was a rough whisper as he finished, "…gave up. They had to do CPR and everything. We thought…" Sam shook his head, battling back his tears. That was a memory he didn't want keep, a sight he never wanted to see again.
This is rated ‘M” folks. Some chapters have very mature themes of violence, torture and rape, bad words….

Hurrying to room two he found Jonas and Joshua sitting near the doorway, icepacks held to their respective injuries. Jonas pulled the pack way from his nose, raccoon like bruising already clearly developing around his eyes. Looking tired and annoyed, Joshua held an icepack under his chin, dark bruising clear.
"He's still stable," Jonas reassured his friend, “but he hasn’t woken back up."
Nodding, John went in to Dean's side, gripping Dean's hand and running his other hand over his son's face, brushing some errant locks off his son's forehead.

It is rated M. Is it work safe? ...probably, unless you've got a really strict code. There is one scene that flashes that implies some naughtiness, (but they are clothed) and there is violence.

Dragonfly Video

After some thought, I have decided I should use Dragonfly to help raise awareness of some of the issues brought up in Dragonfly. While the story is more of a psychological study of the Winchesters, and the violence against them wasn't intended to be the focus, the violence is still that which spurs the events.
Since Dragonfly addresses two main issues, rape and gang violence, I've decided to provide links to charities that address these issues among others. Since I know many of my readers are international, I've included a few from a few other English speaking countries. If you are from a country not listed (and I know a few of you are) feel free to send me a site that is appropriate in your country. I would prefer sites that let people donate small amounts as well as larger amounts, and sites that are for large and well known charities so there is less risk of charitable contributions not ending up where they are suppose to. I also would prefer sites that do not have a religious affiliation.
The below sites are reputed to be good charities. I am not part of any of these charities, and by all means, if you have a charity that you donate to that you prefer, pat yourself on the back and add an extra dollar/euro/yen/etc next time for Dragonfly.
If anyone has heard anything negative about these charities, please let me know and I will do my best to investigate.

Yes, it's taking me awhile to get this next chapter up. I've had a lot of distractions and things going on to complicate my life and divert my focus. The next chapter is done, but I am waiting on my beta to review it. I sent it to her today. I'm hoping she might get to it tomorrow. So just letting you know the next chapter is almost ready for posting.
